she has led bands like Mudflat Walkers and Nobody's Peach.
Matney has a vocal style inspired by jazz but influenced by honky tonk and folk. Her writing style from song to song varies from waltzy tunes and heart felt love songs to uplifting ballads and sassy country numbers.
